Webcams sent home to spy on students, suit says.
Wasn’t it wonderful, little Johnny’s school sent him home with a brand new lap top so he could do his homework!
Then the Vice Principal at his school told him that he didn’t like what Johnny was pulling in his bedroom. The principal even gave Johnny a picture, taken from the webcam on the computer. It’s not known if there was audio to go along with the video, and no report from the Vice Principal concerning the number of copy’s made for the staff’s amusement.
If your little Johnny or Jane brought home a nice, shiny, new computer, maybe you want to know how many video’s of them in their bedrooms are out there. Who knows, maybe you’re a star too and just don’t know it yet!
Did you know, and were you told that your computer can be remotely controlled without your knowledge? Did you know your phone can pick up all conversations even if the phone receiver is on the hook?
For those that think this is paranoia, ask the 2,300 parents of the students in this school district if they feel defiled and had their privacy invaded.
One more example of the Constitution being used for toilet paper.
