The work we have done over the past two years has helped literally hundreds of children to be rescued from the clutches of CPS and CASA. It now extends beyond the Ranch, and includes children in just about every State that I know of except for Alaska and Hawaii.
Our work to save the Ranch children is complete, and that was a huge part of the reason for our existence here on this site. However, it was not the only part, there are horror stories out there from one end of the Country to the other and Canada.
When I’ve received a request for help, we have always done what we can. The only criteria we have is that the children involved are being taken OUT of warms way rather than being put into it. Without exception, a child is safer at home or with relatives than he/she is with CPS or CASA. Yes, people can kill, rape and maim their children, but children in CPS and CASA “Care” have been raped , killed and maimed in record numbers, and I don’t really think the children care who killed them, they are still dead. The odds are in their favor if they are left alone 95% of the time.
If CPS and CASA are willing to absolutely GUARANTEE the children will be safer with them, then I would consider handing them over. However, I have NEVER known either Agency to acknowledge that a child was killed or hurt while in their care, and it was their fault.
I was recently contacted by a mother who has two very young (2 and 4) children. She lives in a section of the Country were both CPS and CASA are particularly bad. (A distinction most people attribute to their local CPS and CASA). They have requested our help and sanctuary.
We have looked into their case, and 3 State Chapters of our network have agreed that these people warrant help.
We intend to move them from their present location to another State and set them up in an apartment or house. We plan to rent them a moving truck, supply them with cash for travel expenses, secure housing for them, and subsidize them until the parents can find employment and take care of themselves. They need a 2/2 housing situation in a decent neighborhood. If anyone is considering donating a car, it is needed since theirs just broke down.
They are asking for our help, and I don’t know a better way to show CPS and CASA how it should really be done, rather than their usual slash and burn technique.
They are willing to go anywhere, just so the children are safe.
