Google Lisa baby and you bump up against all kinds of cases of evidence withholding by prosecutors during trial. The Reed murder Trial in Bastrap is the latest since her duties to keep under wraps the perjury and withholding of evidence in the Mineola Sex Club fantasies of Ranger Kemp.
Lawyers specialize in their work, and Lisa’s specialty seems to be to keep exculpatory evidence from reaching the Defense’s desk and avoid those pesky mistrials for the State.
In the Reed case, she denied receiving or knowing about a statement from a witness that put the victim with her cop boyfriend two hours AFTER the defendant was supposed to have killed her. Gee, how unfortunate the Jury never knew that little piece of info huh?
“Besides,” she countered, “If the defense knows about that witness, then we couldn’t have hidden it from them, now could we?” Can we expect to hear this same kind of voodoo rational for Philip’s “Transgressions” on the stand?
More importantly, just exactly what is Lisa sitting on in the YFZ cases that she is legally bound to turn over to the Defense? With her track record, you can bet your bottom dollar she’ll never tell.
