TIRED OF CPS AND CASA STEALING YOUR CHILDREN?

November 16, 2009

Key Objectives:

  • Join us for for Children’s Day for Parental Rights in Washington, D.C.
  • Call your congressman on “Universal Children’s Day.”
  • Host a meeting in your district!
Dear Region 4 State Leaders & District Coordinators,

We have been encouraged by your hard work as we continue to build grassroots support for the Parental Rights Amendment! Here are a few announcements and action items for this week.
Washington DC Rally: Children’s Day for Parental Rights

The United Nations has declared November 20th “Universal Children’s Day.” You are invited to join Parental Rights for a rally in Washington, D.C. on Friday the 20th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on the U.S. Capitol grounds. Speakers include Representative Pete Hoekstra, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint, and selected co-sponsors of the Amendment.

Some of you live five minutes away from D.C., and some of you live fifteen hours away from D.C. If you are able to make it, please come out for a great time! If you can’t make it, call your congressman and tell them on the United Nations declared “Universal Children’s Day” that the best way to protect these children is by codifying parental rights into the United States Constitution. They should co-sponsor the Parental Rights Amendment to protect children. And who wouldn’t want to support that?

Host: District Meeting

In order to reach our goal of building a local PRO Chapter within each district, we continue to look for volunteers within each district who are willing to host a Parental Rights meeting. Currently we have confirmed 5 meetings, while another 27 meetings are being planned. This is amazing progress! However, since we have 44 target districts in Region 4, meeting hosts are still greatly needed.

Would you be willing to host a parental rights meeting? You would need to secure a location (home, library, church, etc.) and set up a time for the meeting. You would not be required to publicize the meeting, as we will advertise the time and location over this network, though you are welcome to announce it if you choose. We would then ask you to facilitate the start of the meeting.

Parental Rights can provide talking points, a proposed plan, ideas to discuss, and materials to aid in the process. We don’t want you to be working alone in your district. Through this process, you can begin to build a team within the district, with everyone working together under a common plan with a common goal. We also expect that through the meeting process leaders, skilled workers and “work horse” volunteers will begin to identify themselves. Agreeing to host a meeting does not obligate you to lead the local chapter that will be formed. If you help us gather the people, the leaders will emerge.

Please see the attached meeting host guide, and contact us by email or by phone if you would like to host a meeting.

Sincerely,
Noah Oberlander
ParentalRights.Org Director of Region 4
